The non-adherent layer in our dressing is a thin, fenestrated polyurethane film that sits on top of the wound's surface, separating it from the absorbent layer to prevent adherence. The absorbent layer, made of viscose fiber, has an absorption capacity of 15mL, suitable for wounds with mild exudate. The adhesive layer, composed of medical-grade Henkel glue, is adhered to a Spunlace, nonwoven fabric mesh, and should only be applied to normal, healthy skin.

The backing layer, made of a breathable Spunlace, nonwoven fabric mesh, acts as a barrier to dust and bacterial contamination when dry. The water-resistant dressing delays liquid passage through the backing layer and is not waterproof, reducing the risk of maceration. It can be used as both a primary dressing for minimal exudate wounds and a secondary dressing to secure another primary dressing for wounds with heavy exudate.

To ensure ease of use and prevent skin damage, we recommend applying a skin protectant before using the dressing and using a medical adhesive remover during removal. Our bordered gauze is available in various sizes, individually packaged, sterile, and latex-free. Each dressing comprises a non-adherent central pad and an adhesive border, ensuring secure and comfortable application.
